Cocktail masterclass

Stuart Bale has eight years of experience in the UK drinks industry. He began his bartending In Glasgow and Edinburgh, in bars such as Tonic and 99 Hanover Street, before moving to London in 2008 to work at restaurant and specialist whisky bar, Albannach, in Trafalgar Square. During this time Stuart became an expert on Whisky, often running consumer tastings and masterclasses.

Moving to 69 Colebrooke Row in 2009, Stuart developed an enthusiasm and understanding of the science behind drinks, working with various distillation techniques, experimental flavours and ideas. Stuart now uses his knowledge in his work for Nick Strangeways drinks consultancy 'Strange Hill', where he has been working since August 2011.
