Jesmond Dene House Food Festival May 21st
Now in its third year, the Festival (May 17th - May 25th) is a shamelessly indulgent celebration of some of the exciting things happening today in the world of food and wine. Mark, who cooks dinner for 60 guests on May 21st, joins a line-up including TV chefs Paul Rankin and Simon Rimmer, Michelin-starred Andrew Pern and, from France, food writer and Olive Magazine co-founder, Orlando Murrin.
Terry Laybourne and Pierre Rigothier, from Jesmond Dene House, prepare an Henriot Champagne dinner plus there are expert cooking demonstrations, a chocolate tasting, cheese tasting, Champagne masterclass, speciality Thai and seafood dinners, afternoon teas with a difference and a Wild West barbecue with live music.
