Our Restaurants
Mark Hix formed Restaurants Etc in January 2008 after 17 years as Chef Director of Caprice Holdings. Working with his business partner Ratnesh Bagdai, who runs financial consultancy business 'RNB Accountancy', servicing the hospitality industry. Restaurants Etc now has four restaurants in London and one in Lyme Regis.
Hix Oyster & Chop House in London’s Smithfield Market and Hix Oyster & Fish House opened in 2008. HIX and Mark's Bar in Soho opened the following year, followed by HIX Restaurant, Champagne & Caviar Bar in Selfridges in 2010. HIX Belgravia opened in Belgraves Hotel February 2012. Here at Belgraves all food and beverage within the hotel including private dining, in room dining and of course Mark's Bar is supplied by HIX. Mark is also Director of food for HIX at The Albemarle, Brown's Hotel.
Other projects include the annual pop-up restaurant at London’s Frieze Art Fair and HIX Outside, our outside events company.
