Having cut her teeth in traditional kitchen at La Chandelle in Bath, learning a blend of French techniques and classic English dishes, Caroline branched out into catering in London before moving on to teach cookery for London Education Authority.
Although she was once headhunted for her scones, Caroline considers herself a cook as much as a baker. Her kitchen experience stretches back over 40 years and has been the creative force behind Bridport-based Leakers Bakery since 2002.
Award-winning artisan bakery based in Bridport, West Dorset selling a range of speciality and everyday bread to both retail and wholesale customers and on-line. Loaves are slow-mixed and baked on the premises in traditional brick-floored ovens. We use the finest local and seasonal ingredients to make a range of delicious fillings for our savouries. Specialities include our Dorset Apple Cake, Jurassic Slice and Cheese & Cider Cottage bread.

Caroline returns on Sunday 29th at 12 noon to demonstrate a delcious sea trout en croute with Si Bennet from The Old Watch House fishmongers.
