There are now three wines within the Tonnix range, red, white and rose all produced by Quinta de la Rosa. Tonnix is a joint venture between renowned Chef/Restaurateurs Mitch Tonks and Mark Hix.
The first, 'Tonnix', Douro Branco, is fresh and very appealing with bright citrus aromas. It is perfect with seafood, salads, chicken and other white meats. The second wine, Dourosa, is a generous, black fruit-imbued wine and was chosen for its suitability with fish dishes. The third, Douro Rose, has attractive red fruit flavours. It is a full bodied rosé which is an excellent refreshing aperitif.
Tonnix is also available at Mitch’s three restaurants, The Seahorse and RockFish in Dartmouth and the RockFish Grill in Clifton, Bristol.
